Tales from a life-long dreamer who has always relished a challenge.

An inveterate adventurer who as a young man travelled from Los Angeles to Moscow and from Helsinki to Cape Town. Who has explored much of Australia, New Zealand, Europe, SE Asia, Africa, east and west US and sailed the Greek and Turkish coasts.

Floating through life until almost taking his last breath in Ethiopia’s Addis Ababa. Successes and some failures. Ups and some downs. A teacher, a training executive, an executive grade public/civil servant, a multi-state tourism operator, a consultant, a hospitality operator, a small-scale property developer and an Army Reserve officer (CMF) who trained in Australia, the UK and Germany. 

All with the chaos of a wonderful family. A wife he’s never deserved and three awesome daughters.

Who lived in Sydney, Tasmania, Queensland’s Gold Coast and Brisbane, London and remote Alice Springs. With Tropical Darwin now home, the great Australian outdoors remain a constant draw.

An eclectic life that has provided the inspiration, the settings and the authenticity for the Outback Adventure series. Who better to write stories?
