A life-long dreamer with a love of history, fascinating places, adventure and intrigue, I’m the author of Outback Drama, Outback Danger, Outback Vengeance and the soon to be released Outback Refuge.

An inveterate adventurer who’s always embraced a challenge and travelled a good slice of the world. As a young man from Los Angeles to Moscow and from Helsinki to Cape Town; and later, a good deal of Australia, New Zealand, Europe, SE Asia and sailing the Greek and Turkish coasts.

Floating through life until almost taking my last breath in Ethiopia’s Addis Ababa, I’ve experienced gratifying highs and agonising lows. A teacher, a training executive, an executive grade public/civil servant, a multi-state tourism operator, a consultant, a hospitality operator, a small-scale property developer and Army Reserve officer (CMF) who trained in Australia, the UK and Germany. (Whew! Must have been a busy boy!)

All with the chaos of a wonderful family. A wife I’ve never deserved and three awesome daughters.

Who’s lived in Sydney, Tasmania, London, Brisbane, Queensland’s Gold Coast and remote Alice Springs. With Tropical Darwin now home, the great Australian outdoors remain a constant draw.

An eclectic life that provides the inspiration, the settings and the authenticity for much of the Outback Adventure series.
